![]() f you search for your local club on the Google Play store you will find loads of applications that do a similar thing, basically the majority of them are basic RSS feed readers which have been quickly knocked up, released and never updated again. My aim is to produce an application which is maintained regularly listening to user feedback. Back to the RSS Readers, the main issue I have with these is that the sources of information that are used are not normally the best suited for your particular club. If you are following Yahoo Sports for example, in most cases you are going to get your news stories a lot later than if you were following your local paper etc. I am aiming to release separate applications for each club, with the sources customised for that club and not just using the obvious news sites. Most fans want one single place that they can go to for all the information that they require. More features will get added as the application develops but to begin with the FanCentre app will include the following features*:
The final point to make is that our aim is that every fan can have these features on their phone. If you do a quick search on the app store you will find loads of apps for Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd etc but you will struggle to find them for some of the lower league clubs. If you feel that your club has been overlooked, then give us a shout and we will ensure that we have you covered.* *Note – Some features for lower league clubs may be restricted due to lack of data sources but we will try to add as many features as possible.

LFC History 2.3.6 has now been released to google play.
It contains two new features and some small bug fixes and improvements.
![]() Well its getting one. I was looking at the google analytics stats for the application and it was clear that the most visited page on the site was the ‘Today in History’ section. Since this is the case I thought it would be a good idea to add a widget which could cycle through these events giving the user quick access without needing to open up the application. So far I have come up with the following. This is fine but it looks a bit poor when there are no birthdays or debuts etc on the current day. To avoid this I have also decided to add in details of the game so that there will always be something to display within the widget. Im just working on testing this at the moment but it should be released onto google play soon.
