MyScrobbles 2.1.0 has now been released to Google Play.

This release brings a brand new menu that can be opened up by clicking on the tracks in the recent track list. 
From this menu it is now possible to love the track on LastFM, share the track to any other application including Twitter and Facebook and link to the artists details page within the app. 

As well as these new features, fixes and improvements have been added to the Google plus and Mobile Add integration which aim to reduce the storage and performance requirements on the device.

The latest version of the MyScrobbles application brings a brand new feature which allows you to scrobble the tracks you listen to on the radio.
Simply open up the app, select the radio station that your are listening to and then click 'start scrobbling'. From that moment until you tell the app to stop, every track played on the radio will be scrobbled to your Lastfm account.

Some of the shows the BBC air don't offer up the track information. When this is the case, the app will simply wait until the track names become available and continue scrobbling from that point. 

Some users have asked why the password was required in order to log into the app when the data being displayed is accessible on the website without needing to be logged in. 
This was initially the case because the way in which the data was obtained from LastFm required a session to be created before loading the data. 

MyScrobbles 1.1.2 has now been released in which this process has been changed so that the user can now log in to the application using only their username, all the functionality of the app remains the same.

We may in the future add new features which could require a session to be created, these will be optional and so will only request for your password if you want to use the new feature.
